Welcome to Blush and Bashful Boutique!

My name is Debbie and I am a stay at home mom of 5 children ages 6-17. About six years ago, I stumbled upon the world of bow-making when my youngest daughter was about 2. I wanted all the boutique bows to match all of her outfits but I couldn't find them where we were living so, I began making my own and fell in love with all the different possibilities. Eventually, I ventured into making bows for friends and others and my business was born.

The name "Blush and Bashful" comes from the movie Steel Magnolias which epitomizes southern charm, character and strength which I have always admired. The character "Shelby" states that the colors for her wedding are "blush and bashful" because her "signature color" is pink. I wanted a store that allows everyone to express their "signature" style by providing a variety of boutique items to moms throughout the South Carolina midlands and beyond.
